Diffuser
Diffusers are usually paired with essential oils for aromatherapy purposes. Depending on what oils you use, the mist absorbed by your skin can have a relaxing and soothing effect. Diffusers can also reduce the amount of bacteria and fungus in the room, therefore preventing any health issues. Take note that you’ll only benefit from diffusers if you use the right essential oil for you. A diffuser can also double as a humidifier as well to not only make a room smell nice but also add moisture to the air.

Humidifier
A humidifier, does not clean the air. It simply adds water to the air by boiling water into steam, vibrating water droplets into the air with ultrasonic technology, or by evaporating the water using a fan and a wick. They help symptoms feel less severe if your nasal passages are dry and irritated. According to the NIH, a humidifier helps relieve a stuffy nose and the discomfort of colds or flu. The right level of humidity may also provide a protective benefit from viruses.

Purifier
An air purifier is used to clean the air by removing or otherwise “inactivating” pollutants from the air. The two basic components of an air purifier are a fan and a filter surface, though the specific filtration technology can vary, from traditional HEPA filters to ionizer technology. In most air purifiers, air is passed through the unit, pollutants are trapped or removed on a filter and clean air is emitted back into the room. Air purifiers do not add any moisture to the air.

Benefits of having a nursery
Humidifier
Everyone knows that a baby's skin is meant to be so soft but thats not always true with their skin being so sensitive. One of the most important benefits of having a humidifier in the nursery is the protection it provides against dry air. This is especially true in the winter months when indoor air tends to become dry from your heating system robbing the natural moisture in it.
A baby's skin is so sensitive that without a humidifier, baby's skin can get irritated with red patched. By using a humidifier to add moisture back into the air, the skin remains soft and clear by retaining its natural moistness.
As if this isn't enough, the rhythmic sounds of the humidifier also sooth baby to a more comfortable sleep.

đź’¨ Asthma: A humidifier can ease asthma symptoms if dry air is also a problem, especially during the winter when we use the heater. A humidifier adds moisture to the air which alleviate asthma symptoms. Since asthma attacks are often triggered by pollutants in the air, combining both a purifier and a humidifier will do the best job since a purifier removes pollutants from the air.
đź’¨ Allergies: An air purifier can help reduce allergens levels in the air. A unit with a HEPA filter can help trap particles by destroying allergens in the air.
Having either of these products or combining them not only gives you a better quality of breathing but a better quality of life if you suffer from asthma and allergies.
